Conwy County Borough Council is seeking views on the potential introduction of a visitor levy on all eligible overnight stays.

The consultation formally opened on 20^th May 2026 and is open to all residents, visitors and businesses in Conwy. We would encourage you to take part and to promote it widely within your local areas. Responses are requested by no later than 17 July 2026.

A programme of events and drop‑in sessions has been organised to give businesses, visitors and residents the chance to hear more about the consultation process and engage face‑to‑face if they prefer.

• Tuesday 2^nd June 2026 – Hospitality focused session for coastal businesses.
• Thursday 4^th June 2026 – Drop-in session for businesses, residents and visitors in Llanrwst.
• Tuesday 16^th June 2026 – Drop-in session for businesses, residents and visitors in Penmaenmawr / Llanfairfechan.
• Wednesday 17^th June 2026 – Drop-in session for businesses, residents and visitors in Conwy / Deganwy / Llandudno.
• Thursday 18^th June 2026 – Drop-in session for businesses, residents and visitors in Colwyn Bay / Rhos On Sea.
• Tuesday 23^rd June 2026 – Hospitality focused session for rural businesses.
• Thursday 25^th June 2026 – Drop-in session for businesses, residents and visitors in Abergele / Kinmel Bay / Towyn.
