Iona, Receptionist

Iona is a fluent Welsh speaker and has been part of the team since the Business Centre opened in 2001.

Iona is at the Centre on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings and here to answer any of your meeting room booking enquiries. What Iona doesn't know about the Centre isn't worth knowing!

When Iona's not at the Centre she is busy at the family farm looking after their animals and her 5 wonderful grandchildren.

Catrin, Receptionist

Catrin joined the team in September 2025 and works along side Iona on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. She brings experience from working conferences over the years and is eager to get back into the industry. Outside of work, she loves sending time with her daughters, exploring new places and creating special memories with them. 

Rob, Caretaker/Cleaner

Rob has been with us for a couple of years now and always brings a smile and a positive attitude to everything he does.

Robs responsible for getting rooms set up for meetings and events and keeping the centre sparkly and clean.

When not at the Centre Rob likes to do a bit of sleuthing watching crime dramas!

John, Caretaker / Events Assistant

John has been with us for just over a year, bringing with him over 40 years of industry wisdom and a toolkit that seems to defy the laws of physics - if it's broken, John's already half way through fixing it!

Whether it's a leaky tap, a flickering light or a mystery noise coming from the boiler room, John's your man!

When he's not keeping the building in tip-top shape, John swaps his toolbox for a golf club, enjoying a well-earned swing on the course. And if there's still energy left in the tank, he's back at home tackling DIY projects!

Steph, Business Events Administrator

Steph has been part of the team since November 2022 having previously worked at our sister venue, Venue Cymru.

Steph has a wealth of knowledge working on events for over 10 years! From small one:one meetings to large conferences for 1000 delegates, you name it, she’s done it.

When not at work Steph likes to spend time socialising or planning her next trip away!

Iola, Centre Manager

Iola joined the team in June 2022 and brings with her a wealth of experience having previously worked in the business events industry for over 10 years.

When Iola’s not running the centre, she loves going on little adventures with her granddaughter! When her granddaughter’s had enough, Iola keeps herself busy by going on walks, socialising with friends and going to pottery classes with her daughter.
